| Weeks Marine of Cranford, NJ contracted LandMarker Geospatial to design and install a custom guidance system to enable the Weeks 533 heavy lift crane to precisely place and align structures under as much as 100 feet of water. The guidance system displayed both the barge and the lifting frame positions with various screens providing corresponding navigation information to the intended target. The guidance system was also designed to log as-built sensor and geographic coordinate data for archival purposes upon final placement of a structure. |
